Ganesh Chaturthi 2025 marks the celebration of Lord Ganesha’s birthday, beginning on August 27 and concluding on September 6, Anant Chaturdashi. The most auspicious time (Shubh Muhurat) for installing (Sthapana) idols is between 11:05 AM – 1:40 PM on the main day, with a secondary window from 1:39 PM to 6:05 PM. Do devotees follow a structured ritual order cleansing the altar with red or yellow cloth, chanting “ॐ गं गणपतये नमः”, bathing the idol with Panchamrit, adorning it, offering traditional sweets like modak and laddoo along with durva grass, red flowers, and sindoor, followed by Aarti.
